Clinical Team

The clinicians behind your evaluation.

A small team of doctoral-level psychologists, selected for their expertise in adult autism evaluation.

Why Adult Evaluation Is Different

Adult autism evaluation asks a different set of questions. Not is this behavior unusual for a child? but what has this person learned to do to fit in, and at what cost? The signals are subtler, the compensation more practiced, the co-occurring patterns more tangled — and the instruments used in child-focused clinics are not always the right ones.

Our clinicians specialize in reading the patterns traditional clinics often miss. High-masking presentations. Late recognition. The interplay of ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and autism. Women and adults from underdiagnosed populations whose questions have gone unanswered for decades.

Dr. Jaye Turrietta founded North Evaluations after watching too many adults lose months — sometimes years — to systems that could not respond with the urgency their questions deserved. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst — Doctoral with more than a decade of applied experience across autism evaluation, behavior analysis, and adult psychological assessment.

Her practice with adults is precise by design. Evaluations use the standardized measures found in a university clinic — ADOS-2 Module 4, RAADS-R, ASRS, CAT-Q, and Vineland-3 among others — administered and interpreted personally by Dr. Turrietta. She reads every case herself. Reports are drafted by her, reviewed by her, and signed by her.

Dr. Turrietta is licensed through PSYPACT and provides interstate telepsychology across the majority of U.S. states.

Narmene Hamsho

PhD · PsyD

Dr. Narmene Hamsho is a clinical psychologist who has spent more than a decade specializing in the assessment and diagnosis of neurodivergent adults. Her work centers on the individuals traditional systems are most likely to miss — adults whose autism presents through years of compensatory effort rather than textbook signs.

Dr. Hamsho brings a neurodiversity-affirming approach to every evaluation, tailoring the process to the client’s unique strengths, history, and goals. She is deliberate about the instruments she selects, the context she gathers, and the language of her reports — emphasizing clarity, accuracy, and practical next steps clients can act on.

Dr. Hamsho practices in New York and New Jersey and partners with North Evaluations to expand priority access for adults seeking a thorough, timely evaluation.
